September 2, 2008 - Patrol Reports Safer Labor Day weekend - The Ohio State Highway Patrol reported today that Labor Day fatalities were down 42 percent from last year. Law enforcement agencies reported 13 fatal crashes, killing 14 people, from 6 p.m. Friday to midnight Monday. Last year, 24 people were killed during a similar reporting period. |
